Each host will have their own procedure for bookers arriving at their venue. This can be found in your booking confirmation email.

Each venue will have their own procedure for bookers to follow, including instructions for how to leave their space. This can be found in your booking confirmation email.

Contact the host about any issues that arise during your slot via the details that can be found in your booking confirmation email. If you are unable to resolve any issues with the host, contact our support team.

In the rare occurrence that a venue does not match the description given on our site and the host is unable to remedy your concerns, contact our team straight away and we can work with you and the host to rectify the issue or arrange a refund.

Host FAQs

GoVenue is completely free! We make our income by charging guests a small fee that protects their booking as well as helping us maintain our platform for all our users.

Payments from guests are held for up to 5 days after the time slot ends by our payment provider, Stripe, before being released into your account. This time is used to ensure any disputes between the booker and host are satisfied.

For anything from bookers overstaying their time-slot to property damage, contact our support team and we will mediate between yourselves and the booker.

In order to host with GoVenue you must either own or have permission to sublet your property and have valid public liability insurance.

If something comes up and you are unable to host a guest at your venue, let us know as soon as possible and we can start a mediation process between you and the booker to find the best solution for everybody.

Repeatedly cancelling bookings or cancelling last minute could affect your ability to use the GoVenue platform in the future.
