Our Story
GoVenue was founded by our Director, Richard, after spotting a gap in the market — a need for a platform that not only makes it easy to find and book unique spaces, but also helps local businesses unlock new income streams.
Many small businesses, community halls, and independent venues have incredible spaces that often sit underused. GoVenue exists to change that, giving every Host the opportunity to showcase what makes their space special, while helping Guests discover inspiring places for every occasion.


Our Mission
To connect people and places through a trusted platform that supports local venues, simplifies booking, and creates a positive impact for Hosts and Guests alike.
We believe that finding the right venue shouldn’t be complicated — and that Hosts deserve tools that make sharing their space simple, fair, and rewarding.

GoVenue is completely free! We make our income by charging bookers a small fee that protects their booking as well as helping us maintain our platform for all our users.
Payments from bookers are held for up to 5 days after the time slot ends by our payment provider, Stripe, before being released into your account. This time is used to ensure any disputes between the booker and host are satisfied.
For anything from bookers overstaying their time-slot to property damage, contact our support team and we will mediate between yourselves and the booker.
In order to host with GoVenue you must either own or have permission to sublet your property and have valid public liability insurance.
If something comes up and you are unable to host a booker at your venue, let us know as soon as possible and we can start a mediation process between you and the booker to find the best solution for everybody.
Repeatedly cancelling bookings or cancelling last minute could affect your ability to use the GoVenue platform in the future.
