Welcome to GoVenue! These Host Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with GoVenue, a company that connects hosts with bookers seeking event venues. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform, as they outline your rights and responsibilities as a GoVenue host.

By using GoVenue's platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use GoVenue's services.

  1. Definitions
  • "GoVenue" or "We" refers to the company CSI Media, which operates the platform "www.govenue.io".
  • "Host" refers to individuals or entities who list venues or properties for events on GoVenue's platform.
  • "Booker" refers to individuals or entities who book venues or properties through GoVenue's platform.
  • "Platform" refers to GoVenue's website, mobile application, or any other technology provided by GoVenue for the purpose of connecting hosts and bookers.
  1. Host Registration and Listing

3.1. To list your venue on GoVenue, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.

3.2. You must have the authority to list the venue you offer on GoVenue and ensure that your listing complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

3.3. GoVenue reserves the right to review and approve or reject your listing at our discretion. We may require additional information or verification of your identity or property.

3.4. You agree to maintain the availability and accuracy of your listing. Any changes in availability or important details must be updated promptly.

  1. Pricing and Payments

4.1. You, as the host, are responsible for setting the price for your venue. GoVenue may suggest pricing guidance, but the final decision rests with you.

4.2. GoVenue will handle the processing of payments from bookers on your behalf. You will receive payment, minus GoVenue's service fees, in accordance with our Payment Policy.

4.3. In the event of a dispute or cancellation, GoVenue will follow our Cancellation and Refund Policy, and you agree to abide by the decisions made in such cases.

  1. Host Responsibilities

5.1. You are responsible for ensuring that your venue complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including safety, zoning, and health codes.

5.2. You must maintain your venue in a clean and safe condition, and it must meet the standards and expectations communicated to bookers in your listing.

5.3. You are responsible for communicating with bookers regarding their bookings and providing them with necessary information before the event.

  1. Booker Interaction and Communication

6.1. You must respond to booker inquiries and booking requests promptly and professionally.

6.2. You agree not to discriminate against any booker based on race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

Hosts are responsible for their cancellation policies, as outlined in their listing. Hosts must adhere to the terms of the cancellation policy in the event of a cancellation.

  1. Liability

GoVenue does not assume liability for any disputes, damages, or issues arising from interactions between hosts and bookers. Hosts are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage to protect their property and bookers.

  1. Termination

GoVenue reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and listing if you violate these Terms or if your conduct is deemed detrimental to the GoVenue platform.

  1. Changes to Terms

GoVenue may modify these Terms from time to time. Hosts will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.
