Theatre Porto offers a range of high-quality, flexible hire spaces within our purpose-built, state-of-the-art theatre, which forms a modern extension to the historic Whitby Hall. Designed by award-winning architects Bennetts Associates, the building recently received the Cheshire West Design Award for Community New Build and Refurbishment Project.
We offer a variety of spaces to suit different needs, including our Studio Theatre, Rehearsal Room, Café Workshop, and Meeting Room.
All spaces feature Wi-Fi connectivity, and the venue is fully accessible. Our experienced on-site team can provide technical and front of house support to ensure your event runs smoothly.
We offer competitive hire rates, with discounts available for registered charities, artists, arts organisations and Friends of Theatre Porto.

General Venue Rules
- Guests are expected to treat the venue, equipment, and furnishings with care. Any damage may incur additional charges.
- Please keep noise at a reasonable level, especially when using rehearsal rooms or hosting smaller meetings. Amplified sound or music may require prior approval.
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the building. Designated outdoor areas may be used if available.
- Consumption of alcohol is only permitted with prior approval. If alcohol is provided, all necessary licenses and permits must be in place.
