At Go Venue, we’re committed to making every booking safe, reliable, and worry-free for both Hosts and Guests. The Go Venue Guarantee protects your booking by ensuring the space is accurately described, accessible on time, and handled with the care your event deserves.
How the GoVenue Guarantee Works
The GoVenue Guarantee gives both Guests and Hosts confidence in every booking. It protects payments, supports fair communication, and ensures that every space on GoVenue is accurately represented and available when needed.
For Guests
Booking Protection
When you book a venue through GoVenue, your payment is held securely for up to 7 days after your event. This gives you time to confirm that the space was accessible, as described, and suitable for your needs.
Flexible Refunds
With the GoVenue Guarantee, you can cancel 7 days or more before your booking and receive a full refund, minus the GoVenue Guarantee fee.
If your Host cancels, you’ll receive a full refund including the GoVenue Guarantee fee.
If Something Isn’t as Expected
If the venue is significantly different from what was advertised and the Host cannot resolve the issue, GoVenue will help you find a suitable alternative at a similar price. If no alternative is available—or you prefer not to rebook—you may receive a full or partial refund depending on the situation.
Support if You Can’t Access the Venue
If you arrive and cannot access the space, or encounter a significant issue, our team will step in to help resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
For Hosts
Protection for Your Space
The GoVenue Guarantee helps ensure Guests use your venue responsibly and leave it in a reasonable condition. If damage or misuse occurs, GoVenue will help gather evidence and liaise with the Guest to encourage a fair resolution.
Clear Communication First
Guests are encouraged to speak with you directly if something isn’t right. This gives you the opportunity to address issues promptly and minimise disruption.
Secure, Reliable Payments
Payments are released to you once the booking has been completed and no issues have been raised within the 48-hour review window.
How to Report an Issue
To keep the process fair for both Guests and Hosts, the GoVenue Guarantee follows a simple, clear structure:
1. Speak to the Host First
Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
2. Gather Evidence
If the issue is serious, take photos, videos, and write down what happened. This helps us assess the situation accurately.
3. Contact GoVenue Within 48 Hours
If the matter isn’t resolved, contact GoVenue within 48 hours of your booking—or within 48 hours of discovering the issue.
We will review all information and respond with a decision within 72 hours.
All GoVenue decisions are final.
